AURA does not collect payment-card or bank-account information through this website.
AURA does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how AURA collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit becomeyouraura.com, join the AURA list, submit an order request, track an order, or contact AURA. In this policy, “AURA,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the AURA website and ordering service, based in Tennessee, United States.
This policy applies to the public AURA website and its related ordering and support features. Third-party payment services and websites have their own privacy practices.
2. Information you provide
The information AURA receives depends on how you use the site.
- Order information: name, email address, phone number, shipping address, selected products, quantities, shipping method, order notes, discount information, and policy acknowledgements.
- Community information: email address, signup source, marketing-consent status, Welcome10 eligibility, and welcome-offer redemption status.
- Support information: name, email address, optional phone number, reason for contacting AURA, and the message you submit.
- Payment-support information: order number, payment method selected, payment status, invoice status, and transaction-related communications. Do not place product names or other details in external payment memos when AURA instructs you to use only the order number.
3. Information you should not submit
AURA does not ask you to submit Social Security numbers, payment-card numbers, bank-account credentials, passwords, medical records, diagnoses, dosage information, injection instructions, or other sensitive medical or financial information through this website. Please do not include that information in checkout notes or support messages.
4. Technical information and browser storage
The website and its hosting or security providers may automatically process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser or device type, requested page, date and time of access, and security or error logs.
AURA uses local and session browser storage to maintain your cart, checkout draft, discount code, and welcome-popup preferences. The private administrator area also uses a strictly necessary authentication cookie. AURA does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral advertising pixels.
5. How AURA uses information
- Create, review, verify, fulfill, ship, and support order requests.
- Reserve and manage inventory and apply eligible discounts or welcome offers.
- Send order confirmations, payment instructions, status updates, tracking details, and customer-support responses.
- Send optional AURA news or availability emails when you have joined the AURA list, subject to your ability to unsubscribe.
- Protect the website, prevent fraud or abuse, troubleshoot problems, and maintain business records.
- Comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce AURA policies and agreements.
6. Payments and external payment services
AURA does not collect or store payment-card or bank-account information on this website. Payment is completed separately through the option selected at checkout, such as a PayPal invoice or another listed external payment service.
When a PayPal invoice is requested, AURA may provide PayPal with information needed to prepare and match the invoice, such as your name, email address, AURA order number, and order total. Your use of PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or another payment service is governed by that provider’s privacy policy and terms.
7. How information may be disclosed
AURA may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
- Service providers that support website hosting, database operations, security, transactional email, customer communications, and other technical functions.
- Payment providers when needed to issue or reconcile a requested invoice or payment.
- Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners when needed to deliver an order.
- Professional advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
- A successor or potential successor in connection with a merger, financing, sale, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
8. No sale or targeted-advertising sharing
AURA does not sell personal information for money and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, AURA will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required by applicable law.
9. Data retention
AURA retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including order fulfillment, customer support, inventory management, accounting and tax records, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by record type and applicable obligations.
Browser-stored cart and preference information remains on your device until it expires, is cleared by the site, or you clear your browser data. Marketing-consent records may be retained to document your preferences, including after an unsubscribe request.
10. Data security
AURA uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including restricted administrator access and secure service providers. No website, database, email system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Your choices and privacy rights
You may ask AURA to confirm whether it holds personal information about you and, where applicable, request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy. You may also withdraw marketing consent or object to certain processing. Some information may be retained when required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or transaction-record purposes.
AURA may need to verify your identity before completing a request. AURA will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. If AURA denies a request, you may submit an appeal through the same contact method and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.
12. Email communications
Order, invoice, fulfillment, and security messages are transactional. If you join the AURA list, AURA may also send marketing or availability messages. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications by following the instructions in the message or by submitting a request through the Contact page. An unsubscribe request does not prevent necessary transactional messages about an existing order.
13. Age restriction and children’s privacy
The AURA website and ordering service are intended only for people who are at least 21 years old. AURA does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact AURA so the information can be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.
14. Changes to this policy
AURA may update this Privacy Policy as the website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes may receive additional notice when required.
15. Contact AURA
To submit a privacy request, appeal a privacy decision, ask a question about this policy, or report a concern, use the AURA Contact page and select “Privacy request.” Include enough information for AURA to identify the relevant records, but do not send sensitive medical or financial information.
